Bohus Stickning

Have you heard of Bohus Stickning? I had not until several months ago while I was listening to an episode of the Fruity Knitting podcast. The following week, I heard the name again when I participated in an online knitting workshop called “Virtual Tour to Sweden”. Bohus Stickning is a delightful style that I thought you might enjoy hearing about.

Winter Urns

Some of you may wonder why I chose the name ‘Flora & Fiber’ for my blog and business. ‘Fiber’ is probably obvious given the vast majority of my writings. But did you know another one of my interests is gardening? Hence the ‘Flora’ portion of the name. Today’s post brings a project from the latter.

Choosing Colors - My Pearls

There have been many articles written that highlight various perspectives and approaches to color selection. Understandably, there is always some overlap of content. A Year Round Gift

I found this gift idea on the Silhouette blog.  It was designed and created by Leslie of My 100 Year Old Home.  The original post appeared here.  The project is called "A Gift For All Seasons" and includes a down pillow and six pillow covers that can be changed each season throughout the year.

Of course I had to add my own twist!
