Launch of New Course: Weaving Krokbragd

My online course, Weaving Krokbragd, has launched at the School of Sweet Georgia!

The course consists of over two hours of video instruction, a complete pattern for the course project, transcripts of all the videos, and a 20-page workbook filled with krokbragd weaving information and resources.

The content covers choosing colors, selecting yarn and sett, reading krokbragd patterns and drafts, managing selvages and weft color changes, and several edge finishing techniques.

I demonstrate on a multi-shaft table loom, but I also talk about weaving this technique on a rigid heddle.

The class project is a colorful sampler that can be used as a small wall hanging. This project allows you to learn several skills as well as weave a variety of common motifs.
