Krokbragd Book-More Sneak Peeks

If you thought that I dropped off the face of the earth and took the Krokbragd book with me, be assured that I am still here and fervently working on publishing.

My original plans for the book release were ‘Fall 2018’, so technically that gives me six more days as Winter doesn’t start until December 21. However, unless a team of publishing elves arrives in the next few days, that’s not going to happen.

As with any gigantic undertaking, detours and holdups are inevitable. Although delays are frustrating, they can prove quite worthwhile. Such is the case for me. Just as I learned weaving and other fiber art skills, I’ve added publishing to my self-taught repertoire.

So here’s the ‘fresh off the press’ update (publishing pun intended!):

• All sample weaving projects are completed.

• One chapter needs a bit more writing.

• All the other chapters are either final edited or final edit ready.

• Chapter 1 is formatted and in publishable form.

I’ve chosen to publish both an eBook and a paperback book using Kindle Direct Publishing. Both formats will be available through Amazon. I’ll be sending out more details as the release date approaches.

So when is the release date? The honest answer . . . I don’t know exactly. I anticipate in the next 1-2 months. What I can tell you is that I am single-minded in my focus and ready to get it done! I have a pair of socks on my knitting needles to finish for hubby Pete, but otherwise I’ve committed to no new projects until I hit the ‘Publish’ button! Therefore, the blog will likely be fairly silent too.

I’ll end this little update with a photo taken at my knitting group. All the ‘Ewes’ thought I was so very coordinated with my knitted swoncho, krokbragd rug, and the artwork.
